Mexico’s 26-year-old Andrea Meza won the Miss Universe title for the year 2020 contesting from 73 other countries including Miss India Adeline Castelino among the top five at the beauty pageant.
According to the official website, Meza was crowned by her predecessor Zozibini Tuzi of South Africa who won the title in 2019.
The 69th edition of Miss Universe was held on Sunday at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. The competition was postponed from 2020 to 2021 due to COVID-19.
However, Brazil’s Juli Gama (28) emerged the runner-up at the contest, Janick Maceta (27) from Peru staged third.
