The Fortis Hospital of Punjab applied the antibody cocktail to a 72-years-old COVID patient on Sunday, who is a diabetic with chronic kidney disease. The man was administered with one dose of cocktail, while his health condition is reportedly stable, a hospital source said.

The antibody cocktail therapy is basically for those above the age of 65, who are isolated at home, have saturation oxygen of 93, required no oxygen support but are at risk of developing a severe form of the infection as obesity, diabetes, liver disease, heart ailments or chronic lung disease. It can be administered to those with weakened immunity on account of immune-suppressive treatment.
