A coordination meeting via video conference was held in presence of senior officials managing. The discussion was made on strategy on how to boost incoming and outgoing calls to reach people seeking help and advice for COVID related queries.

The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary of Department of WCD Odisha cum COVID Observor Bhubaneswar Smt. Anu Garg, Electronics and Information Technology, Odisha Secretary Shri Manoj Kumar Mishra, Labour Commissioner Shri N Thirumala Naik, along with BMC Commissioner Shri Prem Chandra Chaudhary & team, 104 teams.

People can call 1929 helpline number for the type of queries like – Request for medical shifting, Request for shifting to Covid Care Centres, Request for doctors’ consultation
request for medicines or other help, Regarding Vaccination, treatment at Hospitals, Covid Testing centres, Discharge Certificate, Information regarding Dead body cremation, Death Certificate, Outside district patients requesting for admission.
