CM Naveen announced 7 days relief for Cyclone Yass affected villages

Reviewing the post-cyclone situation, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday, May 26 promises to provide seven days of relief materials to all the families who have been severely affected in the cyclone storm Yaas.

CM has directed officials to clear the major roads for smooth transportation and at least 80 percent restoration of electricity supply in the affected districts as early as possible.

Patnaik also congratulated all Panchayat representatives, district administration, community organization and the police for their timely work in evacuation. He also thanked the doctors and health workers for providing continuous health services in the affected districts during Cyclone Yaas.

The people of the affected villages would be provided with cooked food or cooking materials and dry food for seven days. The local panchayat and block level officials will make arrangements for the same, informed SRC Pradeep Jena.
