Congress members to observe Rajiv Gandhi’s death anniversary by distributing ration, spreading COVID awareness

Remembering former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi on his 30th death anniversary on May 21, All India Congress Committee (AICC) members have been instructed to provide necessary assistant to needy people, amid the serious pandemic situation of COVID-19, informed Pradesh Congress Committees (PCC) President, Niranjan Patnaik in a press release.

In a statement, President Patnaik had allotted all the President of Congress District Committee, PCC members, MP, MLA, along with their supporting state and district area party members to distribute mask, sanitiser, medicine, food and necessary items to needy people of their area and also to spread awareness during this COVID pandemic situation respectively.

“In the present situation, it has been observed that people are getting more affected during the second wave. So, as a responsible citizen, the only way we can turn the death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi memorable is by bringing out the peoples from this deadly situation,” President Niranjan Patnaik mentioned.
