Cuttack Indoor Stadium to turn Vaccination site today

To speed up the vaccination drive, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) decided to turn Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium into a vaccination centre. The new inoculation centre is all set to begin its work from today, said CMC official.

Around 1,000-1,500 people can avail the second dose of Covishieled vaccine at the indoor stadium every day. As the stadium has lots of space it would be easier to follow COVID protocols. The CMC also urged the beneficiaries to obey the COVID norms at the vaccination centre.

A team of officials from the CMC, including deputy commissioner Samita Sarkar and Sanjibita Ray, have been engaged to oversee the vaccination drive at the new vaccination centre.

However, the vaccination drive is going on at full pace at all vaccination centres in the Cuttack district.
