Electric scooters sales crossed Rs 1,100 crore in 2 days: Ola co-founder

Ola co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal on Friday said sales of its S1 electric scooters crossed Rs 1,100 crore in two days.

The executive noted that while the company has stopped the buying process now, the purchase window will re-open on November 1, just in time for Diwali.

On Wednesday, Ola Electric had commenced the sale process of its electric scooter, which comes in two trims – Ola S1 and S1 Pro. On day one, the company sold scooters worth Rs 600 crore.

“Day 2 of EV era was even better than Day 1! Crossed ?1100Cr in sales in 2 days! Purchase window will reopen on Nov 1 so reserve now if you haven’t already,” Aggarwal said in a tweet.
