IMD confirms over Cyclone in Odisha and West Bengal

A low-pressure area is likely to form over North Andaman Sea and adjoining East-central Bay of Bengal around 22nd May 2021.

As per the Indian Meteorological Department report, the low pressure is very likely to intensify gradually into a cyclone Strom during the subsequent 72 hours. It is very likely to move Northwestwards and reach the Odisha-West Bengal coasts around 26th May evening.
