Indian Youth Congress passes resolution for Rahul Gandhi’s appointment as AICC president again

The Indian Youth Congress has passed a resolution demanding the appointment of Rahul Gandhi as president of the All India Congress Committee (AICC). Sonia Gandhi is the current president of the Congress party.

Srinivas BV, president of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC), took to Twitter to share a copy of the resolution and said, “At the National Executive meeting of the Indian Youth Congress, IYC jointly passes a resolution that Rahul Gandhi should be appointed as AICC President as per the constitution of Indian National Congress.”

This resolution was adopted on the second day of the two-day national executive meeting of the IYC, which was held at a resort near Panaji in Goa.

The meeting was presided over by IYC national president Srinivas BV, IYC In-charge and AICC joint secretary Krishna Allavaru.
