Madhusudan Law College now renamed as University

One of the oldest law institute in Odisha, Madhusudan Law College, has been renamed as a university, the official informed.

Named after “Utkal Gaurav” Madhusudan Das, the 19th century, an institute at Cuttack will be known as Madhusudan Law University when the state observes his birth anniversary.

Higher Education Minister, Arun Kumar Sahoo was present when the new vice-chancellor Professor Kamaljeet Singh took charge.

It offers 5 years Integrated B.A., LL.B.(Hons) and 2 years LL.M. course approved by Bar Council of India (BCI).

The deadline for filling CLAT application form 2021 has extended. Candidates can now apply online for the law entrance exam latest by May 15. Earlier, the last date for CLAT 2021 registration was April 30.
