Odisha govt issues fresh order for taking a jab

Numerous videos emerged where people were seen crowding covid vaccination centers (CVCs) for on-spot slot booking.

Odisha government release new order to prevent people from unnecessarily visiting different vaccination centers. After registration, people will receive intimation through mobile messages for COVID vaccination.

Those who do not possess the confirmed intimation for COVID-19 vaccination will not be allowed to enter the vaccination centers for taking a jab.

People are requested not to gather at the vaccination centers unnecessarily without an intimation message. Those who will be seen violating norms will not be allowed to enter VCs for taking jab without confirmed intimation in the form of mobile messages.

Officials directed to keep a vigil on places, that are likely to get crowded. Aim is to curb the COVID positivity in Odisha within 6-7 days by enforcing stricter rules.
