Puri District Collector inaugurated Swargadwar on Saturday after the completion of its renovation work. The twenty-eight crematorium can be carried out simultaneously at the revamped crematorium in order to facilitate hassle-free movement of people, the official said.
According to the source, the state government has spent around ₹6.3 crores for the renovation and beautification of Swargadwar and it’s adjoining areas.
The district administration hopes that people coming here from far-off places for the cremation of their near and dear ones would not take any bitter experience with them while returning back to their homes.
