The Ramakrishna Mission has set up two COVID Safe Home on Tuesday, 1 June, for asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic patients. The safe home was arranged at its Belur Math Headquarters and others on the premises of Narendrapur.
During the Inaugural speech by Swami Suvirananda, he informed that 50-bed safe homes at Belur have started functioning, yesterday offering free of cost treatment, and 125 bed has been set up in COVID safe homes at Sri Gauranga Bhavan hostel of Narendrapur, which is for the non-critical COVID patients of Rajpur-Sonarpur area of South 24 Paranganas.
In Coimbatore, they have set up 300-bed isolated facility for asymptomatic COVID patients in the Vidyalaya Indoor Stadium with the support of the District Administration and a sponsor.
This apart, in Dehradun the Ramakrishna Mission has started another dedicated COVID Care Centre with 27 oxygen-supported beds on 24 May at Anusuya Prasad Bahuguna Government PG College at Agastyamuni, Rudraprayag, Uttrakhand.
