Two Weeks Lockdown in Odisha, 10% Govt staff allowed, 33% for private office

After the Odisha Government extended the lockdown date for more than two weeks i.e, till June 1 and identifying more staff affected by COVID-19, it has tightened the involvement of staff in the office.

As per the announcement on Tuesday, during this lockdown period, the Government office will function with 10 percent staff, ministry and department and central government offices to run with 25 percent attendance and private office have been allowed to function at 33 percent staff.

However, no restrictions imposed on the offices providing emergency services like defense, central armed police forces, health officials, disaster management and early warning agencies like IMD, NIC, FCI, NCC and customs offices.

The private offices should encourage their staff to work from home, the source said.
