US lifts mask mandate for fully vaccinated people

It’s a big day for America as it is slowly returning to the pre-pandemic era. The citizens can start doing the things that they were stopped doing because of the pandemic as the USA lifts mask mandate for fully vaccinated people.

In a statement, President Joe Biden said, ‘the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, the CDC, announced that they are no longer recommending that fully vaccinated people need to wear masks. This recommendation holds true whether you are inside or outside.’

U.S Health Officials say fully vaccinated Americans don’t need to wear masks. Anyone who is fully vaccinated can participate in indoor and outdoor without wearing a mask.

The Centres for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention eased mask-wearing guidelines for fully vaccinated people on Thursday. However, Requirements to wear masks during travel, on buses, trains, planes and public transportation, still stand.

As per sources, about 154 million people in the US have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. While, one-third of the nation, some 117.6 million people, have been fully vaccinated.
